Dear Heike,

I would like to express my deepest sympathy in your grief following Thomas' passing. It is very difficult to understand that Thomas is no longer with us. I will miss our conversations, where his competence and kindness always contributed to a positive climate.

Thomas was a valued and caring person, generous with both his time and his insights. I especially remember our discussions about work life, where he always took the time to listen and add valuable perspectives. His commitment and warmth will be missed.
