I just found out about Sebastian’s passing and it’s hit me like such a shock. I hadn’t realised that had happened 2 years ago, and I’m literally crying thinking that someone so full of life has left this earth so young. I had the special privilege of working with him when he was working on a film set in Mauritius back in 2019. We connected, being the same age and having similar interests. He had such an amazing story, initially starting off in finance, then deciding to go into the film industry, working as a military ski instructor, being such a gifted photographer, exploring the world’s most beautiful places.
I can’t believe he’s no longer here. I’m sorry if my message brings back sad memories, but I just wanted to say that he’s had such an impact on everyone he’s ever interacted with. I’m just some random Mauritian guy who happened to work with him for a couple weeks 8 years ago, and yet in that short time he inspired me to truly listen to my heart, follow what I really want and to live for the moment. He’s lived more fully in the time he’s walked this earth than most people have lived their entire lives. His memory still lives on Daniela, and his mark on this earth is still felt so strongly.
