Dear Renée,

Please accept my condolences. I have only just seen this post and was very sad to hear about Roland.

Roland was my first boss at the EPO - in fact he hired me! That was at a critical time in my life, so I will be forever grateful to Roland for giving me that opportunity. He changed my life.

Roland was always considerate and helpful when we worked together back in 1985 and further. He was a very good boss with a great sense of humour.
