Dear Renée,



I am deeply shocked and saddened by your message. Just at the moment when I wanted to send you my warmest wishes for your birthday, I now find myself sending you my heartfelt condolences.



I have such good memories of Roland – not only as a colleague, but above all as a dear friend. I will always cherish the times we spent together, sailing to the Azores and through the Caribbean.



I will be flying via Frankfurt to Salzburg on Friday to be present at the funeral and to pay my respects.
